Amicus Attorney

HotDocs -
Document automation software that operates within
Word, WordPerfect, or Ami Pro but goes to levels that mail merge
operations can only dream of. HotDocs transforms a word
processor document or preprinted form into a reusable interactive
template. These templates then prompt the user for only the
variable information and quickly generate the completed
document. HotDocs formats the document with proper pronouns,
verb tense, plural references, dates, and conditional text, all
depending on the answers given by the user. HotDocs provides
accurate, polished documents in a fraction of the time, while
eliminating the need for “copying and pasting.”
HMU
can supply whatever level of support with HotDocs that your firm
desires. However, HotDocs coding and the development of templates
can be a daunting task for someone without a lot of time or
someone not experienced in such development. Although HotDocs is
a very user-friendly program, it is not “plug and play.” Many of
our clients have found it is best to have HMU consultants automate

Time billing, accounting, and management
reporting software all in one program that offers
tremendous flexibility. Why use one system for time billing and

integrates with Amicus Attorney and TimeMatters and is easy to
use, even if your not a “techie.” PCLaw
lets you put your effort into running your practice and developing
your legal skills, not your accounting and computing skills.

integrates seamlessly with Corel WordPerfect, Microsoft Word &
Excel, and many other popular Windows programs. Because WORLDOX
does not require the extra hardware and upkeep of SQL systems, it

the marketplace.

easy-to-use and affordable. Is it possible to have a “Paperless
Office”? Think of "Going Paperless" as a spectrum with "No Paper"
on one end and "All Paper" on the other end. By nature, most law
offices reside at the "All Paper" end of the scale and it is
highly unlikely that any law office can go all the way to the "No
Paper" end of the scale. However, most law offices could move to
somewhere in the middle of the scale without major upheaval. The
benefits are thinner files and it becomes much easier to find
things located in them (either paper or images).
